{movie} drift (2001)

Boys will be boys. Ryan (Reggie Lee), a young screenwriter, and his boyfriend Joel (Greyson Dayne) are very much in love. When they go to a party thrown by Ryan's agent, Ryan meets Leo (Jonathon Roessler), a student and novelist, and sparks fly. Soon, Ryan is dumping longtime partner Joel to hook up with Leo … and that's when the action and love games really heat up.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: ** God, why are independent gay files soooo bad!? This wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. I was bored for the first half hour and it got a little better, but nothing to write home to mother about. The story isn't that great and the actors weren't very good either. It was kind of a boring story about an Asian guy dumping his boyfriend and falling in love with another guy. After he dumped his boyfriend it got a little better, but still struggled to move along. Overall lame content, lame story, lame characters, lame actors. A complete clusterfuck of relationships. The story and the acting just seems so forced. Just another lame gay independent film.
