{movie} feast (2005)

ireviewnetflix.com review: ** This movie wasn't that great. A Project Greenlight movie, it was disappointing. However, it did interest me in seeing the third season of Project Greenlight as I'd love to watch who and what went into creating this. It was all right when the action got going, but the rest of it was not that great. It was slow, and not in the building suspense for the big payoff moment suspense. I mean, at times it just dragged to the point I almost wanted to turn it off. As for acting, it's about what you would expect from a horror script. Also, there's just something about Balthazar Getty that I don't like. Not as a person (as I don't know him), but just as an actor. I didn't like him in Alias and I was glad when he was died in this. And Judah Friedlander is still just icky and not a good actor. I'm just not entertained by him at all. Also, I didn't like the way they introduced the charcters in the opening moments of the film. Just plain lazy if you ask me. I mean, come on, the movie was only 1.5 hours. You couldn't have taken an extra 10 or 15 minutes to introduce the characters using dialogue with each other? Lame.
