{movie} good boy (2003)

From the distant star Sirius (the "Dog Star"), an invasion of Earth has been planned for thousands of years. Canine spies have been dispatched to gather intelligence for the coming attack, but with none of the agents reporting back, the Sirius military sends Canid 3942 (Matthew Broderick) to Earth to find out what's going on. Soon after landing, he's befriended by a human boy (Liam Aiken) who runs a neighborhood dog-walking service.
