{movie} nostradamus (2000)

Minneapolis cop Mike Nostrand (Rob Estes) discovers that a series of spontaneous-combustion deaths are the work of 16th century monks intent on bringing about the apocalypse. A time machine designed by Leonardo da Vinci transports Nostrand back to 16th century France, where he "becomes" the clairvoyant Nostradamus. Joely Fisher co-stars as a Lucy, a funky police psychic. Director Tibor Takács made the cult favorites The Gate and I, Madman.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** Time travel and Nostradamus. I am interested in both topics and generally enjoy time travel movies. I was interested in the story and took a risk. It paid off with a great movie with a pretty good story. Rob Estes is always nice to look at so that helped as well. :)
