Hollywood newcomers Brad Pitt and Christina Applegate guest star alongside Johnny Depp in Season 2 of the hip police drama about baby-faced undercover cops investigating teen-related crimes. In Season 2, officers Hanson (Depp), Penhall (Peter DeLuis), Hoffs (Holly Robinson Peete) and Ioki (Dustin Nguyen) face their own serious personal problems along with crimes involving race relations, military cover-ups, AIDS discrimination and steroid abuse.

ifreethought.com rating: ** (Actually 2.5) Certainly a more grown-up 21 Jump Street dealing with more serious topics. Not to say 21 Jump Street didn't cover mature topics in the first season, they just turned it up in the second season. Had some great moments, but just not as fresh overall as the first season. Some episodes I fast forwarded though and some were so boring I skipped them entirely. For the most part, still a great show with great moments.
