{television} charmed; season four (2001)

Mourning the death of their oldest sister (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) start the fourth season of this bewitching series coming to grips with the loss of the Power of Three. But the Halliwell sisters find they can renew their strength when they learn they have a half sister (Rose McGowan) -- the daughter of Patty and her white-lighter, Sam -- who's been kept hidden since birth.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** I wasn't sure about Rose McGowan, but she turns in a surprisingly good performance as the new Halliwell sister, Paige. Another great season finale. Not as great as season three's season finale, but still great. All in all, this was a another very good of another very good show. A couple of crappy episodes kept it from getting four stars, but overall it was a good season.
