{television} masters of horror: dario argento: jenifer (2006)

Detective Frank Spivey (Steven Weber) rescues a young woman from a depraved murderer and finds himself strangely attracted to her, despite her terribly disfigured face. Jenifer (Carrie Anne Fleming) clearly has serious mental issues, but when the curvaceous orphan seduces Spivey, he seems more than willing to overlook her problems -- until her fleshly appetites take a disturbing turn. Legendary master of horror Dario Argento (Suspiria) directs.

ireviewnetflix.com ratings: ** Really slow moving. It wasn't as horrible as some of the others, but still it plays like just another crapter (haha, get it, like chapter, but it's crap) in this really bad series of hour long movies. And I'm sorry, but having to look at the titular character often made it really hard to watch this movie. Effectively horric, but just horrible to look at. And what she does to that cat...just too much. But the "Look what I did. What's wrong?" look after that is priceless. The Masters of Horror series is a series of thirty minute stories that have been stretched into hour long movies and suffer greatly because of it.
