{movie} totally awesome (2006)

Featuring the directorial debut of Neal Brennan ("Chappelle's Show"), this spoof of classic flicks such as Pretty in Pink and Footloose will take you back to the bad fashion, big hair and bodacious lingo of the 1980s. After relocating to a new school in a new town, the Gunderson kids, including Charlie (Mikey Day), Lori (Dominique Swain) and Max (Trevor Heins), struggle with stereotypes and bad clichés on the first day of class.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: * Wow, I LOVE the '80s, but this was a piece of crap. I'm talking human waste. They tried to do Wayans brothers spoof, but just couldn't pull it off. I mean, this was horrible. I was REALLY disappointed. I had to stop it 30 minutes in, it was that bad.
