{television} ghost hunters; season one (2004)

Enter Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, plumbers by day and ghost hunters by night. From the Sci-Fi Channel comes this popular series, a documentary-cum-soap opera that follows real-life ghost busters as they investigate haunted houses throughout the country. The spectral sleuths head up a group of ordinary people who share a passion for getting to the bottom of otherworldly disturbances -- from friendly poltergeists to spookier apparitions.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: ** Wow, this is one of the worst "reality" shows I've ever seen, Sci-Fi Channel presents great original dramas, but this show only proves that they are lacking in the reality show department. I could only watch three episodes (and suffered through all three) and just couldn't stand anymore. As for the TAPS team, I've never seen a bigger group of freaking losers. The show had its moments (mostly during the analysis when they think they see paranormal activity), but overall I was able to fast forward through most of it to get to the "good" stuff.
