{movie} world trade center (2006)

From director Oliver Stone comes this gripping docudrama set amid the rubble of Sept. 11, 2001. Working under treacherous conditions, an army of dedicated rescuers desperately hopes to find anyone who survived the World Trade Center's tragic collapse. Their efforts pay off when they unearth Port Authority police officers John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage) and William J. Jimeno (Michael Pena) trapped near an elevator shaft.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: ** This movie gave me chills in the beginning thinking about the heroes that went and gave their lives trying to save the people in the World Trade Center. However, once the towers fell and the guys were trapped in the elevator shaft, I became bored by the over dramatic melodrama. I would have rather watched a documentary than this movie. I was VERY disappointed. Plus, I've never been a big Nicholas Cage fan so that didn't help.
