{television} full house; season two (1988)

With three active girls in the house, father Danny (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and pal Joey (Dave Collier) have their hands full in Season 2 of the family sitcom. This season, D.J. (Candace Cameron) struggles with junior high school pressures; attention-starved Stephanie (Jodie Sweeten) gets married; the Beach Boys pop by; Jesse plans to marry Becky (Lori Laughlin); and Michelle (the Olsen twins) continues her reign as Queen Cutie.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** Man, this show is so sickly sweet it's hard to watch sometimes. I've definantly out grown it, but I remember the first season being distinctly better. The "life lesson" moments at the end of the episode with the sappy music playing in the background are the worst moments of the show, but the stories leading up to them aren't that bad most of the time. I also liked the addition of the beautiful Lori Loughlin as Rebecca Donaldson. Another great additon was the storyline which features Jesse and Joey's foray into the advertising world.
