{television} king of queens; season seven (2004)

Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) is still looking for ways to outwit his wife, Carrie (Leah Remini), usually without success in the seventh season of this hysterical comedy. Missteps this season include taking her to a spa to build up enough goodwill to earn a weekend in Las Vegas with the boys, and faking a heart attack to hide the fact that he's forgotten her friend's name. His perpetually grumpy father-in-law (Jerry Stiller) adds to the fun.
