{television} malcolm in the middle; season three (2001)

Hopelessly humiliated by his parents and persistently persecuted by his siblings, beleaguered teen brainiac Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) has his hands full at home, not to mention school, in this third season of the Emmy-winning comedy. Among other misadventures this time around, Francis (Christopher Masterson) finally breaks from the family; Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) holds Christmas hostage; and Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan) makes a four-legged friend.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** Another great season of comedy from Malcolm in the Middle including Reese's cop chase during a driving test and Hal's company picnic two-part episode. While I didn't always enjoy the Francis in Alaska storyline, the rest of the show is great.
