The Simpson family celebrates their 15th anniversary with another hilarious season of animated misadventures. This year, the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant fires Homer (Dan Castellaneta); the library's bookshelves are barren, and it's up to Marge (Julie Kavner) to teach the kids about history; and Lisa (Yeardley Smith) runs against Nelson (Nancy Cartwright) for Springfield Elementary School class president.

Episodes that stick out include Homer and Marge getting drunk together, Marge and Homer go on vacation to get away from the kids, Homer becomes the superhero Pie Man, Homer and Marge's first kiss, and Lisa starts a newspaper and a feud with Mr. Burns.
