The laughs continue in the 16th year of "The Simpsons," the show that chronicles the day-to-day misadventures of Homer (Dan Castellaneta), Marge (Julie Kavner), Bart (Nancy Cartwright), Lisa (Yeardley Smith) and Maggie. This season, Homer begins to suspect that Marge and Moe (Hank Azaria) are having an affair; Lisa and Bart catch a glimpse of their respective futures; and the Simpson family tries to go vegetarian.

Great episodes feature Marge cheating in a cooking contest, Marge becomes jealous of a former high school friend who's become a successful journalist, Bart sells t-shirts, Homer becomes a prescription drug smuggler, Homer and Ned collaborate on a Super Bowl commercial, Springfield legalizes gay marriage, Lisa files a restraining order against Bart, Selma goes to China to adopt a child, Homer buys an RV, Bart and Lisa get a sneak peek into their futures, Ray Romano guest stars as a roofer in Homer's imagination, Lisa participates in a singing competition, Homer becomes convinced the rapture is coming, and Ned moves away.
