{movie} forty shades of blue (2005)

ireviewnetflix.com rating: * This is not a very good movie at all. The acting isn't that great (I blame the script and the lame dialogue), except Rip Torn who's wonderful as always, the characters are weak, the story is weak, the movie as a whole was weak. The first 30 minutes were so painful I almost couldn't stand it. I finally gave up on this slow paced piece of worthless drivel 40 minutes in. Man, sometimes independent films are just so painful. It's weird seeing Darren E. Burrows as anything but Ed from Northern Exposure, but he was all right in this movie. Didn't recognize him at first, but his voice gave him away.
