{movie} idiocracy (2006)

To test its top secret Human Hibernation Project, the Pentagon picks the most average Americans it can find -- an Army private (Luke Wilson) and a prostitute (Maya Rudolph) -- and sends them 1,000 years into the future after a series of freak events. But when they arrive, they find a civilization so dumbed-down that they're the smartest people around. Mike Judge and Etan Cohen ("Beavis and Butthead") reteamed for this futuristic farce.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: * (Actually 1.5) I'm ashamed to say it, but I actually kind of liked this movie, at least the beginning. It started out all right, but did get worse, but I really enjoyed the beginning. It was stupid, but it was fun stupid. This was almost like a live action Futurama. Loser guy from today gets sent to the future. Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph, and Dax Shepard are all wonderful.

You give Idiocracy 1 star but the f'n golden girls 4 stars? I think that fact sums up your website nicely.

I know I'm not the only person who hated Idiocracy. Check out Netflix.com and you'll find other like minded people who share my opinion. Either way, it's my opinion. How about just sharing yours and not attacking mine? Also, how about being a man, or a woman, and actually posting with your name and not just as anonymous.
