{movie} open season (2006)

After rescuing a mule deer (voiced by Ashton Kutcher) from the clutches of a local hunter (Gary Sinise), a circus bear (Martin Lawrence) finds himself out in the wild, completely unprepared for the real world. Can the two new friends find safety before the start of open season, or are they destined to end up mounted on someone's wall? Billy Connolly and Jon Favreau lend their voices to this animated tale based on the cartoons of Steve Moore.

ireviewnetflix.com review: * Horrible. Man, these animated films are getting worse and worse. I wasn't expecting much from this as the trailer didn't look that great, but this was still really bad. I gave up an hour in. I didn't care what happened to the stupid bear (voiced by Martin Lawrence) or the stupid mule deer (voiced by perhaps my least favorite actor in Hollywood, Ashton Kutcher).
