{television} gilmore girls; season five (2004)

Fresh from spending a summer in Europe with her wealthy grandmother (Kelly Bishop), the now college-age Rory (Alexis Bledel) returns to Yale University to begin her second year of studies. Meanwhile, her mother, Lorelei (Lauren Graham), is back in Stars Hollow, making her own dreams come true as the owner of a fabulous inn. What else does the fifth season have in store for the lovely Gilmore girls? Only time will tell.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** (Actually 3.5) This season started out kind of dark, especially the season premier, but quickly got back to the Gilmore Girls basics. I'm so glad Luke and Lorelei finally got together. It's about freaking time.
