{television} gilmore girls; season six (2005)

In the sixth season of this WB drama, familial relations in Stars Hollow are more bungled than ever. For one thing, Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), aren't on speaking terms, mostly because Rory has dropped out of Yale and is living in her grandparents' pool house. Feeling the void despite her recent engagement to Luke Danes (Scott Patterson), Lorelai buys a new dog and promptly names him Paul Anka.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** (Actually 3.5) This season hurt a bit. I was kind of bored at times with some of the stories, but it's fun. The season finale wasn't that surprising or exciting and I don't really know if I care what happens in the seventh season. Still a great cast spouting off amazing dialogue, but something was kind of missing from this season for me.
