{movie} up for grabs (2004)

Check out the unbelievably true story of the legal wrangling surrounding the record-setting home run ball hit by Barry Bonds at Pac Bell Park in San Francisco. When one guy catches the "million dollar baseball" but another guy ends up with it amidst the crush of the crowd, who is the rightful owner? No one can seem to agree, but one thing is certain: Some people will go to amazing lengths for love of the game.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** An interesting documentary about the homerun ball hit by Barry Bonds. Interesting documentary, but sports fans are pathetic and really stupid. It's a ball! Get a life. And you're celebrating the success of an alleged cheat and a real jerk of a person anyway in Barry Bonds. At least Mark McGwire isn't a jerk. There was however, a great sequence showing Bonds hitting all 70 in a row. That was great. Charles Murphy who caught Bonds #70 was a real tool. Estrogen? Idiot. Alex Popov was a tool as well. And he lost $210,000 in this fight. Hilarious! Idiot! The ball should have immediately been taken by the court, given back to the San Francisco Giants, and then sold with all the money going to charity.
