{television} justice; season one (2006)

Four wildly divergent personalities form the core of a high-profile Los Angeles law firm in this Jerry Bruckheimer-produced Fox drama. Tom Nicholson's (Kerr Smith) everyman persona is in stark contrast to that of his gleefully amoral partner Ron Trott (Victor Garber). Luther Graves (Eamonn Walker), a prominent African-American litigator, and Alden Tuller (Rebecca Mader) make up the rest of the firm's top brass.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** (Actually 3.5) I really liked this show. Another winner from Jerry Bruckheimer. It's too bad it couldn't stay on the air. I liked the choreography, the cast, the characters, and the stories. I also love how they show how the murder actually happened at the end of every episode. Victor Garber is great as the lead, but Kerr Smith is without a doubt the star of the show. Katherine La Nasa is also wonderful as Suzanne Fulcrum, the host of a cable news program called American Crime, a spin on the horrible Nancy Grace Show. At least the Suzanne Fulcrum character isn't as nearly detestable as Nancy Grace.
