{television} the l word; season two (2005)

In the follow-up season to a smashing debut, Bette (Jennifer Beals) and Tina (Laurel Holloman) are still together and are hoping they're finally pregnant. Tim (Eric Mabius), meanwhile, struggles to keep his hold on Jenny (Mia Kirshner), who can't quite get over Marina (Karina Lombard). Dana (Erin Daniels) finally goes on a lesbian date, while Alice (Leisha Hailey) continues to watch events around her unfold from a distance.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** Another great season. This season has stayed as consistently as good as the first season. The drama in this season was just as good and captivating as the previous season's stories. However, not even the addition of Sandra Bernhard to the cast could save the boring Jenny storyline. It's just a boring storyline and a horrible character. Other than that complaint, which was pretty much the same complaint that I had last year, the show is great.
