Series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker continue to push the limits of decorum in the ninth season of their insolent Comedy Central series. The trash-mouthed gang's Colorado community is as zany as ever, with Herbert Garrison (voiced by Parker) undergoing a sex change and Jimmy discovering his "manhood." The collection includes the controversial episode with Stan exploring Scientology and the legendary Isaac Hayes quitting as Chef.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** Another great season of comedy from one of the best and most relevant animated shows on television. Despite a really stupid season premier (I've never enjoyed the Mr. Garrison character), this season is pretty funny. My favorite episodes included: "Die, Hippie, Die", "Wing", "The Losing Edge", "The Death of Eric Cartman" (one of my favorites of the season), "Erection Day", "Marjorine", "Ginger Kids", and the controversial "Trapped in the Closet".
