ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** Ah, Survivor: Borneo, the one that started it all. It was my senior year, I was 18, and I remember watching this show when it first aired. The show was a bit boring at first as the weakest links were weeded out. I didn't really have any favorites. Richard was the manipulative gay guy and I just didn't like him and was mad that he won and was glad when he went to prison for tax evasion. He's just a giant tool! Sonja, Stacey, Gretchen, Jenna, Kelly, and Colleen were boring, B.B., was an old, bossy jerk, Ramona was lazy, Dirk was the annoying Christian guy, and Greg was the weirdo talking on a coconut phone. Joel was cute, but there wasn't much to him. Gervase certainly had the most personality and character. Sean was my favorite because he's a doctor and he's hot! Sue was the most entertaining and I think I wanted her, Gervase, or Sean to win the most. Rudy was also as entertaining as Sue at times. It was a fun first season, but not my favorite season. As always, the reunion is my favorite episode of the season, second only to the finale and the premier.
