{television} vanished; season one (2006)

When the wife (Joanne Kelly) of Sen. Jeffrey Collins (John Allen Nelson) goes missing at a swank event held in her honor, FBI agents Graham Kelton (Gale Harold) and Lin Mei (Ming-Na) are charged with finding her. First, however, they must get to the bottom of the many secrets surrounding her. Esai Morales and Penelope Ann Miller also star in this drama told through the eyes of the FBI, family members and a tenacious reporter (Rebecca Gayheart).

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** A great show that started with an amazing pilot and only got better. I really enjoyed the show and don't understand why it was canceled. The cast is wonderful. The story is great and it was fun to watch the mystery unfold. Rebecca Gayheart is actually tolerable, which is rare for me because I don't really like her that much. And the funny thing is she's better at acting like a newswoman than she is an actress. Gale Harold was wonderful and will have no problem shedding his Queer As Folk image. He's totally got the straight detective cop thing down and it very good at it. I wish this show would have stayed on the air or would have at least been given a complete season so the writers could end the show. Now, I'm left with a feeling of "what would have happened next?"
