{television} two and a half men; season three (2005)

The adventures just get zanier in the third season of this Emmy-nominated comedy. Charlie (Charlie Sheen) continues to push uptight Alan (Jon Cryer) to the brink, even as he endears himself to Alan's son, Jake (Angus T. Jones). He may have overstepped his boundaries, however, when he finally winds up in bed with Rose (Melanie Lynskey), who continues to be obsessed with him. But it's another woman who finally catches Charlie's wandering eye.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** (Actually 3.5) This was a very good season of a very good show. Much better than the second season, but still not as great at the first. April Bowlby as Kandi was a great comic addition especially since the Rose character, even though I love Melanie Lynskey, is starting to grow stale. However, the cast, as always, including Lynskey, is phenomenal.
