{television} the winner; season one (2007)

Looking back a decade, ultrarich 43-year-old Glen Abbott (Rob Corddry) recalls the life-changing summer when he became a man and began the course that led him to his current riches. At 32, Glen still lives with his parents (Julie Hagerty and Lenny Clarke), but things begin to change when the only girl he's ever kissed, Alison Miller (Erinn Hayes), returns to town, giving him a reason to transform himself from slacker to late-blooming success.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** While the show didn't last that long, I found it enjoyable. There were moments when I really laughed out loud. Rob Corddry is just great, but his chemistry with the kid Josh, Keir Gilchrist, is the real star of the show. I would have love to seen this relationship develop over the course of a few seasons, but alas the show was only meant to last six episodes.
