{television} boston legal; season three (2006)

Brilliant legal minds and chaotic personal lives are the rule of the day at law firm Crane, Poole & Schmidt, the setting of this popular courtroom dramedy from small-screen auteur David E. Kelley. Featuring wickedly funny performances from an ensemble cast that includes William Shatner, Candice Bergen and James Spader, the show touches on socially relevant themes but never loses its tongue-in-cheek take on things.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** Another incredible season of Boston Legal. The new cast additions, especially Gary Anthony Williams, are wonderful. However, I didn't like Constance Zimmer always trying to force his character to change. If Clarance wants to be Clarice, let him be Clarice. That was kind of offensive. I'm not a crossdresser or a transgendered person, but if I was I would have been all over this show for it's lack of sensitivity.
On the bright side, James Spader and William Shatner continue their great relationship which is quickly becoming one of the best in television history.
