Eccentric but brilliant Michael Raines (Jeff Goldblum) is an L.A. cop who can imagine detailed conversations with dead crime victims. Some of Raines's co-workers see only madness in his method, but his strange strategy seems to work: The imaginary discussions prove an essential puzzle piece in all the cases Raines solves. This quirky drama also stars Matt Craven, Luis Guzmán and Nicole Sullivan.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** I wasn't sure about this show at first, but once I started watching it I was more than pleasantly surprised. I actually really liked this show and I'm sad it was canceled. Jeff Goldblum, who isn't always my favorite actor, is wonderful in this role that was seemingly made for him. It was also great to see Nicole Sullivan again.
