{movie} crazy/beautiful (2001)

It's culture clash L.A.-style when a Latino boy (Jay Hernandez) from the wrong side of the tracks falls hard for a troubled girl (Kirsten Dunst) from the posh west side. ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** (Actually 2.5) Man, this one was kind of disappointing. The first 30 minutes were almost enough to lose me. While Jay Hernandez is gorgeous, this is far from his best work. It's also far from Kirsten Dunst's best work either, but you can't blame the actors as the story is weak at time and the movie drags on sometimes. Overall, it's an all right movie, but it takes awhile to get there.
