His presence as attending physician somehow making the emergency room a more pleasant place to be, George Clooney finally takes his leave of the ER in Season 5 of the popular medical drama. These episodes also find a plucky med student (Kellie Martin) joining the staff and befriending Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle); Dr. Green (Anthony Edwards) struggling to keep his family together; and Dr. Corday (Alex Kingston) starting over as an intern.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** Man, there's still just something about this show that I can't totally connect with. It's just an all right television show. There are so many other shows on television that are so much better that don't last as long as ER. I didn't really enjoy this season that much. The medical drama was much more interesting than the interpersonal drama this season as all the character's storylines were pretty boring to say the least.
