Aspiring actor and perennial extra Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) finally strikes career pay dirt in the second season of the hilarious HBO series: The BBC has picked up a sitcom he created. Now, he must deal with intrusive network executives, fickle fans and his inept agent (Stephen Merchant). Meanwhile, his friend Maggie (Ashley Jensen) continues to support him on this new journey. Guest stars include Orlando Bloom, David Bowie and Ian McKellen.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it, but if you thought the first season of Extras was great or just all right as I did, you're going to love this season because it's not just good, it's great. The element of Andy Millman working on a sitcom is also entertaining, providing many great comic moments. The episodes with Sir Ian McKellen (a favorite of mine) and Daniel Radcliffe are particularly hilarious.
