{television} extreme engineering; bridging the bering strait (2004)

Highly skilled engineers and visionary architects take on a challenge of gargantuan proportions with their objective of linking two continents: North America and Asia. But is it feasible to construct a bridge that's 55 miles long and can withstand the pressures of weather, land shifts and the mighty Arctic Ocean? Join the Discovery Channel team for this riveting discussion of the possibilities of traversing the Bering Strait.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** While I don't think it's unreal or impossible (I think few things can limits man's ability to create anything or conquer any challenge), this one was a hard to get into because I don't see the importance compared to previous projects discussed on the Extreme Engineering series. Nonetheless, it was interesting and somewhat educational.
