{television} grey's anatomy; season three (2006)

The interns of Seattle Grace Hospital are back at it for a third season in this Emmy-nominated TV series. Hazarding pitfalls as rookie doctors, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina (Sandra Oh), Izzie, George and Alex continue to treat the traumas of their patients' lives while finding the strength to confront the dramas in their own. Also back in the mix are Isaiah Washington as Dr. Burke and Patrick Dempsey as Dr. "McDreamy."

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** Another great season from the cast and writers of Grey's Anatomy. Almost the best season yet. Eric Dane is still one of the sexiest men on television. The backdoor (Hehe, I said backdoor and didn't make a dirty joke. Wait, does that count as a joke?) :) pilot for the new spin-off, Private Practice, got a proper two-episode build-up and I really hope it does well. However, I am mad that Merrin Dungey (formerly of Alias) isn't going to be a part of the cast for Private Practice. Very disappointed as I love her, but the rest of the cast for the new show is amazing and a stacked deck which should have no problem pulling off what promises to be another great show for Shonda Rhimes.
