This animated, irreverent comedy from producer James L. Brooks takes viewers into the world of acerbic New York film critic Jay Sherman (voiced by Jon Lovitz). Pudgy and balding, Sherman is the host of Channel 67's "Coming Attractions," most of which fall far short of his high -- and very critical -- standards. While constantly trying to balance his distaste for popular films with his need, he is also desperately seeking approval and success.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: **** This is another very funny animated sitcom. I remember watching it as a kid and not getting everything, but enjoying it nonetheless. Now that I get all the jokes I love it even more. Jon Lovitz is great and Park Overall was a great addition in the second season.
