{movie} delta farce (2007)

After being mistaken for Army reserve troops, three average, small-town guys (Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and DJ Qualls) are hustled onto a plane that's headed for combat in Iraq. The fact that the plane unwittingly drops them in Mexico doesn't stop them from "liberating" what they believe to be the Middle East. Blue Collar Comedy Tour director C.B. Harding helms this lighthearted approach to global conflict co-starring Danny Trejo.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: * Why do I keep getting these movies? They are so stupid and I never enjoy them. As stand up comedians Larry The Cable Guy and Bill Engvall are funny, but give them a script and it doesn't work out too well. Plus, the scripts they take are the worst. This wasn't funny at all and horribly disappointing. Plus, I do wonder if it's not a bit inappropriate to be making fun of our Armed Forces in this way during a time of war. While I don't agree with the war, I do disagree with making light of the work our men in uniform do and the danger they put themselves in.
