Former physics professor Ian Hood (Patrick Stewart) probes the dark side of modern science in this four-episode collection of the British sci-fi thriller series. As special adviser to Britain's Joint Sciences Committee, Hood investigates disastrous events and mysteries involving cloning, global warming, cancer cures, deadly viruses, modern-day mad scientists and other cutting-edge science horrors. Ashley Jensen co-stars as Hood's bodyguard.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: * While I LOVE Patrick Stewart in almost everything he does, I just couldn't get into it. The characters are dull and the stories are tired and boring. The actors are handicapped by boring content and characters. It's slow, British crime mystery. I recommend CSI or X-Files instead.
