Harvey Pekar (Paul Giamatti) was a working-class stiff, a file clerk who found an outlet for his creativity by chronicling every minutia of his life in Cleveland, Oh., for more than 20 years in a comic-book series called American Splendor. ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** This was an interesting one. I had never heard of Harvey Pekar, but he certaingly is an interesting character. Overall, it was a good movie with only a few weak moments. I really enjoyed the unique perspective of going back and forth between the charcter played by the amazing Paul Giamatti and the real man Harvey Pekar.
