{television} my favorite martian; season one (1963)

When a sarcastic Martian, "Uncle Martin" (Ray Walston), is stranded on Earth after his spaceship crashes, he comes to live with a hapless young bachelor named Tim O'Hara (Bill Bixby). Uncle Martin has a spectacular array of special powers: He can disappear, levitate objects, move backward and forward in time -- just about anything. Problem is, Tim never knows when Uncle Martin will next employ his Martian powers.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** Bill Bixby was great, Ray Walston was amazing, and the stories were cute and comical. A little slow at times, but overall enjoyable little tales of a Martian stranded on Earth. This was a good little series and I look forward to watching future seasons.
