A band of researchers travels through a mysterious teleporter and finds the fabled lost city of Atlantis -- and a dangerous alien race. In Season 2 of the popular sci-fi series, the squad learns more about their new nemesis, the Wraith, and the strange devices left behind by the extinct Ancients. Led by Dr. Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson) and Maj. John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), the team finds adventure daily at the far end of the universe.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: *** (Actually 3.5) I enjoyed this season much more than the first and there were some memorable favorite episodes this season, unlike last season. However, I absolutely hate the Ronon character as it's a pathetic failure of an attempt to re-create a character like Teal'c. That character aside, the rest of the cast is wonderful and the show is enjoyable. Favorite episodes this season include the season premier "The Siege," "The Intruder," "Duet," "Conversion," "Aurora," "Epiphany," "Critical Mass," "The Long Goodbye," "Michael," and the season finale "Allies."
