{movie} the amateus (2007)

Depressed divorcé Andy Sargentee (Jeff Bridges) hatches a plan to produce an adult movie and get rich in this charming independent comedy. He drafts his buddy Barney (Tim Blake Nelson) as co-producer and taps Emmett (Patrick Fugit), a kid who owns a video camera, for director of photography. But the production is plagued by a host of problems, not the least of which is a leading man (Ted Danson) who has trouble "performing" on command.
