Sentenced to a stretch of community service at a prestigious school for the arts, streetwise troublemaker Tyler Gage (Channing Tatum) unexpectedly discovers his natural talent for dance when he pairs with one of the academy's ballerinas. Leading choreographer Anne Fletcher's dance-filled directorial debut co-stars Jenna Dewan, Mario, Drew Sidora, Heavy D, Damaine Radcliff, De'Shawn Washington and Rachel Griffiths.

ireviewnetflix.com rating: ** (Actually 2.5) This movie was just all right. It didn't seem worth all the praise and attention it was getting and it certainly didn't seem worth a sequel. It just seems to me that it's all been done before. The story was all right, the cast was all right, the music and a very hot Channing Tatum were the only saving graces (and Channing Tatum was the only reason for the third star).
